Back Pain Care

Back pain can originate from a number of different causes – sports injuries, post surgical pain, heavy lifting, even poor posture.  Pain can be a sharp, stabbing pain that shoots down your leg, or a dull ache in your lower back.  At Motion Physical Therapy, we know pain like this can cause you to miss work, sports and daily activities, and we are ready to help you become pain free.

Motion Physical Therapy in The Woodlands is staffed by highly trained, experienced physical therapists who have been treating patients with back pain for more than two decades.  We complete a comprehensive evaluation for each of our patients and design a treatment program to help each person return to their activities as quickly as possible.

We emphasize treating and correcting the cause of your pain to help you reach your long term goals.  As a patient, you will receive state of the art, highly effective treatment techniques to reduce your pain and restore your function, with one on one care of our physical therapists.  In our Woodland’s office, in addition to our other treatment techniques, we offer an underwater treadmill and individualized pool with ground level access.  The warm water in the pool helps to relax muscles, improve circulation and increase strength and flexibility, all while also helping to minimize the impact of movement.

Pool therapy has been proven to be highly effective at treating and managing chronic back pain and increasing a patient’s range of motion and mobility.  We are very excited to offer this excellent treatment opportunity, in addition to a wide range of additional treatment techniques including:
